Position: Landscape Architect
Accent Landscape Contractors, Inc is accepting resumes to fill an open Landscape Architect position. Job Description: Plan and design landscape projects, including site layouts, planting plans, grading, and irrigation systems, in accordance with client requirements and project specifications. Analyze site conditions such as soil composition, drainage, topography, and existing structures to support the development of landscape designs. Prepare detailed landscape plans, construction drawings, and specifications using CAD and related design software. Develop cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for landscape construction projects to support budgeting and project planning. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure proper integration of landscape design with overall project requirements. Review project plans and construction documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and design standards. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that landscape installation is performed in accordance with plans and specifications. Select appropriate plant materials and landscape elements based on environmental conditions, project requirements, and sustainability considerations. Incorporate sustainable design practices, including water-efficient irrigation systems and the use of native or drought-tolerant plant materials. Prepare visual representations and design presentations to communicate project concepts to clients and stakeholders. Utilize tools such as surveying data and field observations to support accurate site planning and design development. Bachelor’s degree in architecture and eighteen (18) months of experience as a Landscape Architect are required. Salary: $38,792.00 per year.

LABORERS/OPERATORS This position requires that you be able to perform strenuous physical labor like digging trenches, planting,spreading rock, lifting materials, bending, etc. As a general laborer, you will be asked to assist in the Installation of Irrigation systems. As an operator must be able to operate small equipment including, backhoes, skidsteers, trenchers and other small equipment. Job hours vary between jobs so employee must be able to work various hours. (Some including Weekends.)
FOREMEN The core role of a Foreman is to manage landscape and irrigation installations. This person will be expected to ensure landscape and irrigation installations are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Landscape experience required. Bi-Lingual a plus.
